Volunteering with NHS Tayside
NHS Tayside values volunteers. We know volunteers have a huge amount to offer and help to enhance our patients' experience.
We will provide you with training and any other equipment you might need to keep you safe.
We know volunteering makes a difference.
As a volunteer you will be able to provide a little extra help to healthcare in NHS Tayside. Examples of how you can do this include driving patients to and from palliative care appointments, spending time with patients who have few or no visitors, providing directions to people coming into busy healthcare premises, supporting audiology clinics are just a few examples.
Our volunteers tell us they like to volunteer to give something back, to improve communication, to meet new people, to add structure to their day, to learn a new skill.
