Retiral of senior staff nurse Lynne Shilp
Lynn Shilp has retired after 20 years at Aberfeldy Community Hospital and more than 40 years service with the NHS.
Lynn completed her training in 1974 at Glasgow Royal Infirmary moving onto Edinburgh Royal Infirmary to start a postgraduate qualification in ICU.
Lynn has had a varied and interesting career working in many areas including major trauma, theatre and oncology in the UK and overseas.
In her retirement Lynn plans to spend more time enjoying her hobbies, which include fused glass art.
Presenting Lynn with her gifts, senior charge nurse, Caitlin Charlton said, “On behalf of NHS Tayside I would like to thank Lynn for her commitment and dedication and wish her a long and happy retirement.”
