Audiology Open Day

The Audiology department at Kings Cross Health and Community Care Centre in Dundee is opening its doors to the public on Saturday, 29 November.

Those who are deaf or hard of hearing, or know someone who is, are invited to the open day, between 10am and 2pm to see the variety of services available to deaf or hard of hearing people throughout Tayside.

This will include NHS Tayside Audiology, equipment providers, hearing aid manufacturers and representatives from the voluntary sector. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet with Action on Hearing Loss, Deaf Action, Deaf Links, North East Sensory Services, Tayside Deaf Childrens Society, Education Services, RNIB, Deaf Blind Scotland, and the National Deaf Childrens Society.

Activities throughout the day include ‘Your Child/Your Choices’ presentation by the National Deaf Children’s Society, Signed Songs R Us signing choir and a sign language taster session.
