Children’s memorial service in Perth

A ‘Time for Remembering’ service in memory of babies and children who have sadly passed away is being held in the Salvation Army Church and Community Centre in Perth on Wednesday 11 March at 7.30pm.

The service will include music, readings and the lighting of candles in memory of those who have died.

Chaplain Anne Findlay said, “The death of a child, whether before or after birth, is an experience which causes a great deal of emotional pain for parents, grandparents, other family members and friends.

“This annual gathering has become recognised as a valuable time of support and encouragement where parents and others can remember these children in the safe and supportive company of others who have experienced similar losses.”

The evening will include an opportunity to meet with representatives of support groups over a cup of

tea or coffee.
