FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Diabetes Forum Meetings in Angus

If you live in the Arbroath or Forfar areas and are living with diabetes, your local Diabetes Forum would like to invite you to their upcoming meetings.

The groups were established to support people to live well with diabetes and, as well as providing information, the meetings offer a chance to chat with others living with diabetes over a cup of tea or coffee.

The meetings will be held at the following locations:

    • The Lintrathen Room, Whitehills Health & Community Care Centre in Forfar on Wednesday, 8 July from 10am until noon and will discuss the importance of looking after your feet.

    • Health Education Room at Springfield Medical Centre in Arbroath on Thursday, 9 July from 3pm until 5pm and will discuss the complications of diabetes and how to avoid them.

The meetings are organised by Angus Community Health Partnership in conjunction with the local Diabetes Forum. The meetings are open to anyone living with diabetes as well as their families and friends.

For more information or to be added to the mailing list to receive advance notice about further meetings, please contact Rhona Guild on 01307 474889 or email achppatientcourses.tayside@nhs.net.
