Donation in memory of Bob Pirie

£800 has been donated to Ward 32 at Ninewells Hospital in memory of Bob Pirie.

The family of Bob Pirie from Forfar have donated £800 to ward 32 at Ninewells in his memory.

Bob’s daughter Ashleigh said, “Sadly our dad passed away in May in this year and we collected money during his funeral to donate to ward 32. The nurses and doctors were fantastic with our dad so we wanted to do something to say thank you for the great care he received. We couldn’t have donated such a large sum of money if it wasn’t for our generous friends and family, thank you to them too.”

Accepting the donation, senior charge nurse Alison Inglis said, “I would like to thank Bob’s family for their generous donation. They have requested that we buy Dyson fans for the ward which will enhance patient comfort.”
