Tell the team directly

We love to get positive feedback from our patients as it makes our job even more rewarding, but if you've had a negative experience or a concern that you would like to raise we'd like to give you the confidence to tell us in person. Many concerns or misunderstandings can be quickly addressed and resolved right there and then to save you or anyone else worrying about them. We also like to be given the chance to apologise to you in person if our care or someone in our team has let you down.

Patient Opinion

Patient Opinion is an independent website that offers patients the chance to quickly, easily and anonymously feedback to the teams involved in their care. When a comment is posted we are immediately alerted and provide a response within 48 hours. Just remember to tag the comment as Acute Medical Unit or AMU in Ninewells to be sure that we will see it, read it and learn from it to help you and other patients in the future.

NHS Tayside has a Facebook page which anyone can add a post or comment to. The alerts do not go directly to the AMU team but the Feedback Team in Ninewells contact us and help us to respond.
