Children's Bladder and Bowel Service

Bladder and bowel childrens service
Promoting healthy bladder and bowels amongst children and young people - our mission is to help children and young people live a healthy and happy life regardless of any bladder or bowel issue they may face.

What do we do?

Children's community continence services provide specialised care and support for children and young people with bladder and bowel problems.

These services are provided in the community setting, such as clinics or schools, making them more accessible and convenient for families. They are often run by specialist nurses or paediatricians with training in continence care.

We can help with:
  • bedwetting
  • daytime wetting
  • constipation
  • soiling
  • nocturnal enuresis
  • stool withholding
  • overactive bladder
  • delayed toileting

How do you access our services?

The service currently accepts referrals from GPs, school health teams, health visitors and paediatricians.
