- Once you have your REC reference number you have until midnight to submit your application electronically via the Integrated Research Application System (IRAS)

If you require an NHS REC review of your application you will require to book your application through the HRA online booking service website www.hra.nhs.uk

If you are unsure whether you study requires an NHS REC review you can:-
- submit your proposal/protocol together with any supporting documentation to the Ethics Help line (tay.ethicshelpline@nhs.scot) and we will be happy to advise you
- use the Health Research Authority (HRA) 'Is my project research?' tool
