QU. I've missed a dose of my warfarin what should I do?
ANS. Don't worry. Take the next dose as normal and tell the clinic at your next visit.

QU. I've taken an extra dose of warfarin by mistake. What should I do?
ANS. Look for signs of unusual bruising and bleeding, if present seek medical advice. Otherwise take your next dose as normal and tell the clinic at your next visit

QU. The doctor has started me on a new drug. What should I do?
ANS. If you don't have an appointment with the clinic that week, please contact the clinic with the name of the new drug the next working day and they will advise you what to do


QU. The doctor has given me antibiotics. What shout I do?
ANS. If you don't have an appointment with the clinic that week, please contact the clinic with the name of the new drug the next working day and they will advise you what to do

QU. I've run out of warfarin tablets, what should I do?
ANS. Re-order at your surgery ASAP. If you are unable to get a prescription from your surgery see your local pharmacist for an urgent supply. Please remember it is important to ensure you don't run out of your warfarin therapy.
