Physiotherapy

Physiotherapists are specialist healthcare professionals, who help restore movement and function when someone is affected by pain, injury, illness or disability.

The NHS Tayside physiotherapists assess and treat individuals who are troubled by muscle weakness, poor balance, loss of movement in a joint, poor exercise tolerance, pain, incontinence, neurological problems such as spasticity, or breathing problems.  We offer outpatient appointments, work with people while they are staying in hospital, run exercise classes and offer a home visiting service for individuals who cannot attend our outpatient clinics.
Our ambition is to offer everyone we work with the best possible patient experience. If you’ve had a positive experience or have a recommendation around how we could improve our service, we would like to hear from you.
