Directions to Murray Royal Hospital By Car

From the North (Inverness)
Approaching Perth from the north on the A9, take the first exit at the Inveralmond roundabout for Perth. Follow this road straight into Perth, through first roundabout, under rail bridge and straight on at traffic lights.

At the next 3 roundabouts continue straight on. At next set of lights, stay in left hand lane and continue on until set of lights. (BP Filling Station on right).

Turn left into Atholl Place and stay in left hand lane continuing straight on through 2 sets of traffic lights.

At next set of traffic lights take left hand filter lane, crossing River Tay and stay in right hand lane at next set of lights, avoiding left turn filter. Continue straight across onto Lochie Brae. Continue up the hill and after approximately 400 metres, the road bends sharply to the right and continue up the hill for a further 500m. The entrance to Murray Royal is on your left.

Car parking is available at the side of Rohallion with disabled spaces only spaces available at the front of the clinic. Additional parking is available in the main hospital car park which is immediately on your right when you enter the site. Come down the stairs turn right and you will see Rohallion at the top end of the Hospital site.

From the South (Glasgow / Edinburgh)Glasgow

Approaching Perth from the south on the A9, at the Broxden roundabout, take the 3rd exit for Dundee/Edinburgh and continue on the M90. After approximately 2 miles, take the left hand lane and follow signs for Dundee. Merge onto the M90 from the south and take the exit (J11) marked Perth immediately at the end of the Friarton Bridge. From Edinburgh continue north on the M90 and take the second exit (J11) marked Perth immediately after crossing the Friarton Bridge.

Edinburgh/Glasgow
Follow the road round and under the bridge and enter Perth. Continue straight along this route until set of traffic lights and stay in right hand lane, avoiding left filter, opposite Isle of Skye Hotel. Continue straight on for approximately 3/4 mile until set of traffic lights. Approximately 50metres before the lights, turn right into Back Wynd up the hill and at junction join Lochie Road and continue on up hill (Murray Royal signposted). Follow the road up and round the sharp bend to the right and continue on up the hill for a further 500m. The entrance to Murray Royal is on your left.

There is currently no parking at Rohallion (only disabled spaces), but the main hospital car park is immediately on your right. Come down the stairs turn right and you will see Rohallion at the top end of the Hospital site.

From the East (Dundee)/Aberdeen

Approaching Perth from the east, leave the A90 signposted Perth just prior to the Friarton Bridge. Follow the road round and under the bridge and enter Perth. Continue straight along this route until set of traffic lights and stay in right hand lane, avoiding left filter, opposite Isle of Skye Hotel. Continue straight on for approximately 3/4 mile until set of traffic lights. Directions to Murray Royal Hospital by Bus/Train

If you arrive in Perth by train, there is a taxi rank outside the station. By foot the journey would take 20/25 minutes.
If you arrive by Bus to the Bus Station there is a taxi office further down Leonard Street or the train station is a short walk away.

The number 11 and number 12 bus services run from Mill Street in the town centre to Murray Royal.
