Hospital Palliative Care Team

The Hospital Specialist Palliative Care Team concentrates on strengthening nursing input and improving care for patients and their families within PRI.

This role includes the support of other professionals via appropriate advice, support and education to facilitate and enhance the delivery of effective generalist and specialist palliative care.

The medical/nursing team in charge of the patients care within the hospital refer to the Hospital Palliative Care Team when they feel it is appropriate.  If you would like involvement of the Hospital Palliative Care Team, please discuss with the medical/nursing staff in charge of your care.

The Hospital Palliative Care Team is available Monday to Friday from 9am until 5pm.
