Charity Art Auctions

21 November 2019: Tayside Healthcare Arts Trust (THAT) held a fifth charity art auction to raise funds towards its work with creative engagement and people living with long term conditions living in Tayside and North East.

17 November 2016:  Tayside Healthcare Arts Trust (THAT) fourth fundraising art auction raised an incredible £10,000 for the charity to continue to deliver creative arts programmes for people living with long term health conditions across Tayside.

20 November 2014:  THAT Art Auction Committee held a third successful THAT Postcard Art Auction at Discovery Point,  Dundee and were extremely grateful to the generosity of the wonderful artists who contributed and donated art works for the event and for the welcome support received from their many sponsors.

15 November 2012:  THAT Charity Art Auction Fundraiser at Discovery Point Dundee was an outstanding success with £13,000 raised to support THAT’s charitable work at the interface between health and the arts.  THAT thank the generous support of the contributing artists, general public, THAT Fundraising Committee, Blue Square Design, Curr & Dewar Auctioneers, Dundee Heritage Trust, Discovery Point staff, friends and family who helped to create a very memorable evening.

2010:  THAT secured over 90 donated Postcard Art Works from artists such as Peter Bourne, Nael Hanna and Ian McLachlan Scott and received an additional 34 donated framed artworks for auction which attracted over 200 guests and successfully raised over £12,000.

It’s Good For Your Health

17 September 2015:  the ‘It’s Good For Your Health’ event aimed to highlight the results from Tayside Healthcare Arts Trust's (THAT’s) Creative Engagement Project 2013-15.  It was held at Dundee Contemporary Arts and attended by people with an interest in health, arts, education and research.

People living with COPD, dementia and Parkinson’s Disease took part in the Creative Engagement project programme, which was funded by Creative Scotland and NHS Tayside.  You can view a blog and short video clip from the event.
