NHS Tayside's Annual Review

Each year NHS Tayside has its performance reviewed by the Scottish Government. This process is called the Annual Review. It is held over a whole day within NHS Tayside.

The Minister and officers of the Scottish Government meet with clinicians, staff and patient groups in the morning.

In the afternoon a public meeting is held to discuss NHS Tayside’s performance in the year since the previous Annual Review. During the meeting the minister will discuss with the Chairman, Chief Executives and Directors about how well their organisations has performed over the last year.

Attendees are also given the opportunity to pose questions to a panel of NHS Tayside Directors. This gives members of the public, patients, their families and carers a chance to see how NHS Tayside is doing and ask questions about the services provided.
