Mrs Dunion has spent over 20 years working for Scottish Charities, including Age Concern Scotland, Scottish War on Want and Down's Syndrome Scotland. For five years prior to becoming self-employed in September 2007, she was Campaign Director of 'see me', Scotland's national campaign to combat the stigma of mental ill health. Her career in the voluntary sector, provided her with a knowledge of learning disability, mental health and issues affecting older people, particularly long-term care.

In her current role as an independent consultant, Mrs Dunion works with community, voluntary and public sector organisations to help them deliver social change through social marketing, effective communications and campaigns.

This appointment will be for four years and will run from 1 May 2010 until 30 April 2014.
