Better Health Better Carer - Consultation

The Cabinet Secretary for Health and Wellbeing on 16 August 2007 launched a national discussion about the priorities for health and wellbeing in Scotland.  The Scottish Government are committed to engagement and involvement and would like to hear your views and experiences of the NHS in Scotland as they develop their Action Plan for the future.

We are looking to discuss issues including how we:

• might improve patients’ experience of care;
• ensure best value from our investment;
• encourage people to take greater responsibility for their health;
• tackle health inequalities;
• better support people with long term conditions;
• provide children with the best possible start in life;
• ensure continuous improvement in everything we do.
