Well - you can! There are presently two service user groups in Tayside, one in Montrose and one in Dundee, where parents can work with professionals in Maternity Services and can help to make our Tayside service even better. Both groups are chaired by a mum, and we would welcome new members coming along to join them. If you are interested, please contact the Midwifery Team Leader for your area and she will put you in touch with the relevant person. Perth doesn't have a group at the moment but we'd be keen to start one. If you are interested please contact the Midwife-led Unit or Audrey Miller, as below. Dundee CityMyra Fraser ‘Mum’s the Word’ is a Dundee group of mums, mums-to-be, midwives and health professionals who promote and support women as they use NHS maternity services in Dundee. They want to hear any views regarding pregnancy, labour and birth choices and postnatal care, so that they can make the women’s experiences count and make a difference to future mums and families. The group meets every last Wednesday of the month at the Dundee Maternity Unit at 6.30pm and any mums or mums-to-be are welcome to go along for a chat and cup of tea. You can also contact the group on mumstheword1@live.co.uk or go on Facebook at Mumstheword Dundee Perth & KinrossAudrey Miller, Antenatal Health Education Co-ordinator: Contact can also be made in writing via the Disclaimer:
