Welcome to the NHS Tayside Library and Knowledge Services web pages.

Library & Knowledge Services (L&KS) are available for all staff and partners throughout the Tayside region, with NHS librarians based at Carseview and Kings Cross in Dundee, and Murray Royal Hospital in Perth.

NHS Tayside staff are eligible for membership of the library of the University of Abertay and under a Service Level Agreement, with the libraries of The University of Dundee.

All NHS staff, partners and students on placement  have access to The Knowledge Network, from work or home. Many of the resources in The Knowledge Network (TKN) are freely available, but to get the full benefit of the service, register for an Athens password from the homepage.

L&KS librarians provide training on The Knowledge Network, Literature Searching/Search Skills and Bibliographic Management (RefWorks). Information and course registration is available through the NHS Tayside Training Database, available to staff on the NHS Tayside Intranet – Staffnet – in Learning & Training on the homepage.
