Donation to ward 10 Ninewells

A Dundee family has donated £400 to ward 10 at Ninewells Hospital.

Roddy McLeod decided to raise money for ward 10 after his daughter Kirsty received treatment there.

He painted pictures of ‘hairy coos’ and turned them into a calendar to sell to raise money for the ward. So far his calendars have raised £400.

Roddy said, “Kirsty received excellent care. I wanted to say thank you and show my appreciation for everything the staff have done for her.”

Accepting the cheque, senior charge nurse Jess Malcolm said, “We're delighted that Kirsty and her family and friends have taken the time to think of us and raise funds for ward 10. This donation will go towards patient comfort.”
