Twelve portable Smart televisions donated to Roxburghe House
A Dundee family have donated twelve portable Smart televisions to Roxburghe House in memory of Vi Wighton.
The family of Vi Wighton held a race night to raise funds for the televisions in her memory. The family wanted to say thank you to all the staff at Roxburghe House for the care and support given not only to Vi but also to the whole family during her stay at the unit.
The family have said they were made to feel welcome and cared for.
Jane Andrew clinical coordinator specialist palliative care service said, “I would like to thank Mrs Wighton’s family for this generous donation.
“Their fundraising efforts are hugely appreciated and their donation will benefit other patients and families who are receiving care in Roxburghe House.”
