IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Auchterarder Archway Community Cafe
Members of the public are being invited to attend the new Auchterarder Archway community cafe.
The drop-in cafe runs every Monday between 1.30pm and 3pm at the Auchterarder Community Church Centre.
Everyone is welcome to pop along for a chat and have a cup of tea or coffee in a warm, friendly and supportive environment.
The project is being led jointly by Perth and Kinross Healthy Communities, Auchterarder Parish Church and representatives of the Auchterarder Network.
The community cafe will also provide a range of advice and support from members of the Auchterarder Network, which includes representation from NHS Tayside, Perth & Kinross Council, PKAVS and St Margaret’s Health Centre.
Perth and Kinross Healthy Communities project support worker Shona Fowler said, “The Auchterarder Archway cafe is an idea that came from discussions within the Auchterarder Network, which highlighted the need for a drop-in style cafe to support people in the community, particularly those people who may feel isolated.
“Everyone is welcome to come along to the informal get together and we are looking forward to seeing people at the cafe every Monday.”
