Ninewells staff support Christmas Shoebox appeal

Staff from the Acute Medical Unit at Ninewells Hospital took part in Blytheswood Christmas Shoebox Appeal.

Staff supported the Blytheswood Christmas Shoebox Appeal for a second year, filling shoeboxes with essential toiletry items, toys and teddies, pens, pencils and colouring books, hats, gloves and scarves, sewing kits and much more.

Senior staff nurse Ashley Hampton said, “We wanted to do something nice this Christmas and give something to those in severe poverty who get nothing at Christmas.

“Everyone who participated had great fun making and filling the shoeboxes with the various items. Supporting this appeal has given staff a real feel good factor.”
