Kind donation in memory of Neil Taylor
The kind friends and family of Neil (Tattie) Taylor made a donation to Ward 11 at Ninewells Hospital in his memory.
Friends and family of Tattie (Neil Taylor) set up a Just Giving Fund when he became unwell earlier this year to raise money for alternative therapies for him.
Sadly, Tattie passed away a short time later so they decided to use the money they raised to buy items for the ward to help with patient comfort.
Senior charge nurse Rosalyn McKinnes said, “The one thing Tattie missed when he was in hospital was ice in his water so his friends and family made sure they purchased an ice machine for the ward. They also purchased photographic scenes of Scotland, one of which is Orkney, Tattie’s favourite place. Tattie loved his music so they also purchased radios, fans and clocks.
“On behalf of everyone on the ward, I would like to thank Tattie’s friends and family for their generous gifts to improve patient comfort.”
