A total of £500 was donated to Ward 32’s clinic area at Ninewells Hospital in memory of Jessie Fraser.

The family and friends of Jessie, who lived in Brechin, took part in a variety of fundraising activities to raise the money, including a darts and dominoes afternoon, a sponsored walk and raffles.

The activities raised a total of £2,200, which will be shared between Ward 32, Fife Kidney Support Group, the renal unit at the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy and the Friends of Stracathro Hospital.

Family friend Clare Inglis visited Ward 32 to hand over the donation to Senior Charge Nurse Alison Inglis.

Accepting the donation, Alison Inglis said, “I would like to thank Jessie’s family and friends for this generous donation. The money will be well used and will go towards our patient comfort fund.”
