Husband and wife team say farewell to NHS Tayside after 43 combined years of service

Catering administrator Sheena Carlin and her husband, catering storeman Keith have retired after 43 years combined service with NHS Tayside.

Sheena began working at Dundee Royal Infirmary as a catering assistant in 1984, moving into an administration and clerical role at Kings Cross before becoming catering administrator at Ninewells in 1995.

Keith began working as a driver in the catering department at Ninewells in 2007 then took up a role as a storeman.

Sheena said, “We are going to miss everyone but we are looking forward to a few holidays we have planned this year and spending more time with our family and friends.”

Catering services manager Fiona Kimmet said, “Sheena and Keith will be missed by everyone. We wish them a long and happy retirement.”
