IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Volunteers required for new hearing aid service in Blairgowrie

Perth and Kinross Health & Social Care Partnership is looking for volunteers for their new hearing aid support service at Blairgowrie Community Hospital.

The new service is looking for volunteers who are friendly and understanding, patient and sensitive to the needs of others. Training will be provided.

Jane Laahs, Voluntary Services Manager said, “We are looking for people who are reliable and have a couple of hours to commit each fortnight on a rota basis. Volunteering can be good for your own health and can help you make new social contacts. We all benefit when people volunteer and get involved in their local community.”

If you have some spare time and you’re interested in volunteering or would like more information, please contact Jane Laahs, Voluntary Services Manager on janelaahs@nhs.net or 01738 562323.
