Lesley braves the shave for Macmillan

Lesley Barclay, a domestic assistant at NHS Tayside took part in Macmillan’s Brave the Shave and raised £700 for the charity.

Lesley, who has 30 year’s service with NHS Tayside took part in Macmillan Cancer Relief’s fundraiser Brave the Shave and raised a magnificent £700 in memory of her granddaughter Madison who sadly passed away six years ago from brain stem cancer at the age of seven.

Lesley, who works at the Kingsway Care Centre said, “I wanted to raise money for the charity in memory of my granddaughter. I hope this encourages other people to ‘Brave the Shave’ and raise money for a good cause.

“Thank you to everyone who donated, especially my friends who work in Tesco on South Road, Dundee, whose colleagues also donated.”
