CBIR benefits from Christmas calendar competition
The Centre for Brain Injury Rehabilitation (CBIR) at Royal Victoria Hospital in Dundee was presented with a cheque for £200 following success in a Christmas calendar competition.
Solicitors Digby Brown held an art competition to fill the pages of their Christmas calendar and Hartley Neal who had been a patient at CBIR, had their artwork chosen to be in the calendar.
Hartley was invited by Digby Brown Solicitors to a prize-giving ceremony in Glasgow along with CBIR artist, Christine Goodman. Hartley received a prize of £50 worth of vouchers and CBIR received a donation of £200 towards group funds.
Dr Rabia Din said, “Well done to Hartley on his success with his artwork and thanks to Digby Brown for the generous donation which will benefit patients from across Tayside.”
Laura Campbell from Digby Brown said, “I’m delighted to congratulate Hartley for his fantastic artwork and would like to thank Christine Goodman from the CBIR for encouraging so many patients to take part in the competition and helping us produce a calendar to be proud of, which will be circulated to hospitals, clinics and brain injury services across the country.”
