Young fundraiser raises funds for ward 10

Young fundraiser Ruaridh Findlay has donated £150 to ward 10 at Ninewells Hospital.

Eleven-year-old Ruaridh decided he wanted to raise money for ward 10 at Ninewells to thank staff for looking after his grandad William Patterson when he was a patient on the ward.

With help from his swimming club and St Pius church, Ruaridh raised money by selling raffle tickets and truffles he made himself. He also held a race night.

Accepting the donation senior charge nurse Jennifer Brown said, “Thank you to Ruaridh and his friends for all their hard work raising money for the ward. We very much appreciate it.”
