Pitlochry Minor Injury and Illness Unit opening hours
Perth and Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership advises that Pitlochry Minor Injury and Illness Unit (MIIU) opening times will be extended during June.
The MIIU will be open on the following hours from Saturday, 1 June to Sunday, 16 June:
• Monday – Friday, 9am to 6pm
• Saturday – Sunday, 9am – 9pm
Normal opening hours will resume from Monday, 17 June and the unit will be open between 9am to 9pm daily.
Perth and Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership Chief Officer Gordon Paterson said, “I would like to thank the local community for their understanding in recent months during the previous changes to the opening hours at Pitlochry MIIU. I would also like to reassure members of the public that we are working to address the recruitment challenges in North Perthshire and are continuing to explore how models of care can support local healthcare provision.”

You can contact your GP between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday. When your GP surgery is closed and you’re too ill to wait until it re-opens, you can access appropriate out-of-hours services (including a nurse or GP) through NHS 24 by calling 111.
Your local pharmacist can provide a whole range of services including free advice, support and guidance on all your health problems. Community pharmacies are open at convenient times on Saturdays and Sundays in many locations.
