Information event for patients with inherited cardiac conditions
Familial Arrhythmia Network Scotland (FANS) is inviting patients with inherited cardiac conditions and their families to an information and education day on Saturday, 7 September.
The patient event, hosted by FANS, which is a part of NHS Scotland, is being held at the Apex Hotel in Dundee from 10am to 3.30pm. The event is free to attend, however registration is required as a light lunch will be provided. Please register with the following link:

At the event, NHS Tayside cardiology consultant Dr Anna Maria Choy will provide an update on treatment for cardiomyopathy and arrhythmia. Other speakers include representatives from Cardiomyopathy UK, British Heart Foundation, Chest Heart Stroke Scotland and FANS.
Organiser Aneta Gorczynski from the National Network Management Service in Tayside, said, “We are hoping patients, people recently diagnosed with inherited cardiac conditions and their families will attend this information event. Everyone is welcome.”
