Get Out and Get Active at ‘Tay Bridge Tasters’
An inclusive physical activity programme, which offers fun, free activities for people of all ages and abilities, is holding a taster event at Dundee Waterfront this weekend.
Get Out Get Active (GOGA) Tayside will be running taster sessions of many of their activities at ‘Tay Bridge Tasters’, along with other local organisations including Dundee Green Health Partnership, Dundee Dragons Wheelchair Sports, Dundee Boccia Club and more.
The event, which takes place on the path between V&A and City Quay, is free to attend from noon-4pm on Sunday, 28 August.
GOGA Tayside administrator Lynsey Gerrie said, “Everyone is welcome to come along and try a range of activities such as boccia, yoga, aerobics, wheelchair basketball, e-trikes, walk & wheel, games and so much more.
“GOGA Tayside is committed to being fun, free and inclusive to all. Being a part of both Scottish Disability Sport and NHS Tayside, we want to offer activities that encourage people with and without disabilities to be active together, so our programme is suitable for everyone.”
