Winners were presented with awards by the Chair and Chief Executive at
NHS Tayside’s
Staff Appreciation and Recognition (STAR) Awards event on Friday evening to recognise their outstanding achievements. 

Introducing the awards, NHS Tayside Chair, Lorna Birse-Stewart said, “It is wonderful to have this opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the brightest STARS in NHS Tayside who have been nominated for outstanding patient care or going the extra mile in their job.

“We received an astonishing number of nominations which I believe is testament to the professionalism and commitment of our staff and to the high regard in which they are held by the people of Tayside.

“The STAR awards also give us the chance to recognise and sincerely thank each and every member of staff across Tayside for their ongoing hard work. I’m incredibly proud of all the staff of NHS Tayside.”

NHS Tayside Chief Executive, Professor Grant Archibald said, “I was delighted to present awards to staff for their incredible dedication. It really is a privilege to work alongside such a high achieving team of professionals.”

Young Achiever:
