Forget Me Not event at Roxburghe House

Relatives and friends who have lost loved ones at Roxburghe House in Dundee are invited to a memorial event on Wednesday, 8 May.

The ‘Forget Me Not’ event will take place from 4-6.30pm in the Macmillan Day Centre dining room at the unit, as part of the Good Life, Good Death, Good Grief awareness week.

Visitors will have the opportunity to write messages in memory of their loved ones to place on the Macmillan Day Centre’s remembrance tree.  A chaplain and the Family Bereavement and Support Service team will be in attendance to meet visitors and provide information and resources.

Roxburghe House is a purpose-built specialist palliative care unit staffed by a dedicated team.  People are admitted to the unit for short periods of time for the management of symptoms associated with advanced illness.  The multi professional team also provides supportive and dignified end of life care.
