NHS Tayside’s STAR Award Winners Take Centre Stage
Winners were presented with awards by the Chair and Chief Executive at NHS Tayside’s Staff Appreciation and Recognition (STAR) Awards event on Friday evening to recognise their outstanding achievements.
Introducing the awards, NHS Tayside Chair, Lorna Birse-Stewart said, “The NHS Tayside STAR Awards is about shining a light on our incredible staff.
“We received a record breaking 1082 nominations which I believe is testament to the professionalism and commitment of our staff and the high regard in which they are held by the people of Tayside.
“As with every year, the standard of the nominations was very high. I was a member of the judging panel and I know we found it extremely difficult to choose the winners from so many excellent nominations. Everyone who has been nominated should feel proud of their achievement.”
NHS Tayside Chief Executive, Nicky Connor said, “It was a real honour to present the awards to staff at what was my very first STAR Awards ceremony. A huge congratulations to all our winners and finalists. Every single one of them is a STAR in my eyes. Their dedication and achievements are truly inspiring.”
