Tayside Healthcare Arts Trust Musicality event in Perth

There are still places available on a Musicality Programme for people living with Parkinson’s in Perth & Kinross.

The Musicality for Parkinson’s programme is run by Tayside Healthcare Arts Trust (THAT) in association with NHS Tayside, Creative Scotland and Horsecross Arts Perth.

The eight-week Musicality programme focuses on the benefits of singing and exploring the participants’ creativity through music as a fun and enjoyable activity.

Singing coach and composer Debra Salem will work with the group to develop their singing voices through a number of different songs and rhythm exercises.

THAT promotes the therapeutic value of arts-based programmes to enhance quality of life, to promote social inclusion and to empower the individual to make an important contribution to their health and

wellbeing.

The sessions will commence Monday 2 March until Monday 27 April at the Norrie Miller Studio, Perth Concert Hall. The programme is open to the participants carer or family member to accompany them.
