'Forget Me Not' event at Cornhill Macmillan Centre

‘Forget me Not’ coffee morning at Cornhill Macmillan Centre

Friends and family whose loved ones passed away at Cornhill Macmillan Centre at Perth Royal Infirmary are being invited to attend a remembrance event.

The Forget Me Not event is being held on Friday, 8 May 2015 from 11am to 12.30pm.

Family and friends can drop in at anytime during the relaxed and informal morning for a cup of tea and a chat and have the opportunity to write their own message in memory of their loved ones on the centre’s remembrance tree.

The Cornhill Centre chaplain and the bereavement and family support coordinator will be there to meet visitors and there is also a chance to meet other families over refreshments.

Cornhill Macmillan Centre is a purpose built palliative care unit offering specialist care to patients with cancer and other life limiting illnesses. Patients can be admitted for short periods of relief from pain and other symptoms. The staff provide support to help people adapt to their illness with an emphasis on quality of life.
