Heather retires after 42 years service

Heather Simpson has retired after 42 years service with NHS Tayside.

Heather started her career at Stracathro Hospital in the laboratories in 1973 and worked as a medical lab technician until December 2002.

Heather then transferred to Brechin Infirmary to start a new career as a ward clerk where she worked until her retirement.

Presenting Heather with her gifts senior charge nurse Joy Milne said, “Heather will be greatly missed by everyone. We wish her a healthy and happy retirement.”
