Local artists donate artwork to PRI Radiology department

The waiting area in Perth Royal infirmary’s Radiology department has been brightened up thanks to a generous donation of artwork.

Local artists Audrey Slorance, Fiona Haddow and wildlife photographer Jeff Harrison have kindly donated a number of framed photos, prints and paintings to the department.

The artwork, which includes images of local wildlife and landscapes, are a welcome addition to the waiting area and have already received lots of positive comments from patients.

Radiography services manager Catherine O’Neill said, “We are very grateful to these generous local artists for the kind donation of their wonderful images to the Radiology department at PRI.

“The artwork and photographs have brightened up the waiting areas, creating a more relaxed atmosphere for anxious patients and also provide an enjoyable discussion point for patients and staff.

“We would like to express our appreciation for their generous gifts.”
