Clinical Immunology Service

The Clinical Immunology Service aims to deliver high quality, patient-centred care.

Patients and healthcare professionals can find information on the services provided and referral guidance.

We offer a range of services for patients with immune-related diseases, including

  • Investigation of primary and secondary immunodeficiencies
  • Investigation of peri-operative anaphylaxis 
  • Investigation and management of insect venom allergy
  • Investigation and management of hereditary and acquired angioedema syndromes
  • Full laboratory testing for immunological disorders
     
Patients access these services via referral from primary care or hospital consultants. Referrals are triaged by the consultant immunologist. Patients are offered an outpatient appointment for further assessment if required and are graded urgent or routine.

  • Investigation and management of food allergy
  • Investigation and management of drug allergy
  • Investigation and management of mast cell disorders
  • Investigation and management of systemic autoimmune disorders
