Patient to refer to Neurology:
- Please refer any patients in whom MND is suspected
- Clinical features raising likelihood of MND include progressive dysphagia when associated with dysarthria; progressive limb weakness; an absence of sensory symptoms/signs
- Prior to referral, please send a CK level (to differentiate those with muscle disease mimics).
