What is NHS Tayside CAMHS?
CAMHS stands for Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. CAMHS are one part of a whole range of services and supports available to children, young people if they are experiencing difficulties relating to how they are feeling, coping emotionally and / or behaviourally.
NHS Tayside CAMHS are the more specialist part of these services. We have a role to assess and treat children and young people with more severe emotional and/or behavioural difficulties which impact significantly on their day to day lives.
