Citizens Advice Bureau

Dundee Citizens Advice Bureau is a local, independent charity which provides free, impartial and confidential advice and information to give you the tools you need to sort out any issues or problems such as; money, legal and consumer.

Dundee City Council Homeless Service - Options Team

People who present with issues around homelessness or who are at risk of losing their home can contact the team for advice and support. We can provide patients with free, confidential, information and advice on all aspects of homelessness; provide a range of housing options; where possible, help to prevent them from becoming homeless; give patients support and guidance to find solutions to their housing problems; arrange referrals to other housing providers and support agencies; provide temporary accommodation if a person has no place to stay.

Dundee Homefinder Service helps people to secure good quality, affordable housing in the private rented sector. Homefinders can also provide support with a deposit guarantee scheme.

Hillcrest Futures

Our Dundee Futures Project works with people who would like to increase their confidence, meet new people, learn skills and improve their physical and mental wellbeing.
The service offers one-to-one support and delivers activities such as cooking, art and walking groups.

Parish Nursing

Provide health care for people who are experiencing homelessness, or are at risk of becoming homeless, life and health inequalities, substance use, and loneliness. We offer a twice a week Drop-In, open to all, where people can access support for health concerns, support into recovery, spiritual care, harm reduction advice and a listening ear. We also offer 1-1 support, and support groups for anyone in recovery.
Weekly drop-in sessions take place at the Steeple Church, Nethergate, Dundee.

Shelter Scotland North Community Team

The North Community team offer comprehensive advice and advocacy on a range of housing and homelessness issues. They also have informative housing advice available from their website including useful template letters for individuals to take forward their issues independently. Can also provide access to a team of solicitors to ensure rights are represented and fairly.
