Health and Work Team

Welcome to the NHS Tayside Health and Work Team section of our website
 
We are a friendly team located within the Public Health department, and lead on work to encourage organisations to adopt good work and employment practices to reduce inequalities and improve workplace health and wellbeing

We provide free tailored support, advice, and training to workplaces across Tayside, working with you to achieve improved health and wellbeing in your workplace

Our team can advise on a range of topics including:

  • Addressing key reasons for absence from work - Mental Health, and Musculoskeletal disorders (MSKs)
  • Access to and retention in work
  • Training for managers and employees
  • Alcohol awareness and policy development
  • Supporting a Fair Work approach: Disability, gender, and age employment, Real Living Wage accreditation, Financial wellbeing, Employee engagement, Carer Positive accreditation, Flexible Working practices
Ours is a small team made up of three Health Promotion Officers, one Project Officer, and is led by our Health and Work Programme Manager.
