Mental Health & Wellbeing

Mental health is about how we feel, think, and connect with others. It's not just the absence of problems but feeling good and having positive relationships. Our mind, body, and surroundings are linked, so caring for mental health boosts overall well-being.
While it's normal for moods to fluctuate, long periods of poor mental health can lead to bigger issues.
Talking about mental health helps prevent more serious problems.

Key Points for Mental Health Self-Help:

  1. Connect with Others: Social interaction supports emotional well-being

  5. Give: Some studies have shown that people who help others are more likely to rate themselves as happy
  6. Practice Mindfulness: Stay present and manage stress with meditation or breathing exercises
  7. Get Enough Sleep: Proper rest is essential for mental clarity
  8. Set Boundaries: Balance work, rest, and leisure to avoid burnout
