Personal Profile
Simon leads NHS Tayside’s nursing and midwifery professions as they progress their careers through a range of ambitious learning, development, and leadership programmes. Simon brings more than 24 years’ experience, beginning in NHS Fife, before advancing to senior nursing and leadership roles in NHS Lothian and Healthcare Improvement Scotland, eventually joining NHS Tayside in early 2021 and becoming the Executive Nurse Director in November 2024. In 2015, He also completed a Scottish Quality and Safety Fellowship, where he focused on his passion for quality improvement, aiming to enhance experiences for both patients and staff.
