Working with partners

Working with Partnership
When anchors work together, they can use their collective influence to have a transformative effect on the prosperity and wellbeing of their local communities. It is NHS Tayside’s goal to maximise these opportunities.

Recent Community Wealth Building events held in Dundee have facilitated collaborative working across Dundee Partnership’s anchor institutions. These included national and international good practice examples and enabled a shared understanding of the potential collective aims and opportunities. Delegates supported the creation of a draft Dundee Community Wealth Building Charter to help develop the model in the city. Links have been made with Community Wealth Building leads in Angus and Perth & Kinross to facilitate similar partnerships.

NHS Tayside continues to learn and benefit from national anchors networks, including the NHS Board’s anchor institutions peer learning network facilitated by Public Health Scotland.
