Margaret has worked in the NHS since 1984 and in Tayside since 1990 taking up the post as Board Secretary in 2004 following a number of other management positions in the NHS. In the role as Board Secretary, Margaret has a portfolio with responsibilities for Corporate Governance, Equality and Diversity, Information Governance which includes Corporate Records Management and also Resilience and Business Continuity Planning.

Judith has worked for NHS Tayside since 1988, when she graduated as a Podiatrist and has worked in various clinical roles throughout her career. In 2018, Judith took up a role within the Workforce Directorate, primarily to support the application of the Apprenticeship Programmes in NHS Tayside and the expansion of Career Development for young people.

Jayne moved into her current post in 2023, and has responsibilities for the Patient Safety, Clinical Governance & Risk Management team, Professional & Practice Development team and the Transforming Roles and Non-Medical prescribing Lead Nurse. Jayne's nursing career began in 1985, and since then, Jayne has worked in various roles across both community and acute, including General Nursing, Midwifery, Public Health Nursing (Health Visiting), Child Protection as well as secondments with the Care Inspectorate and CNOD Scottish Government.

Gail has worked in the NHS since 1999, initially in Fife and more recently in Tayside. Gail is currently Primary Care Team Manager working in Dundee HSCP. Prior to that, Gail worked in Primary Care Services, working closely with independent contractors, community optometry, community pharmacies, general dental practices and general practices. Gail has worked in University, Local Authority and NHS sectors managing teams including safety teams and counselling and psychology services as well as working closely with a number of businesses, public and private sector setting up contracts to provide occupational health and safety services.

Confidential contacts are trained individuals with high levels of interpersonal skills who work with all levels of staff within the organisation.
Confidential contacts provide a safe space for staff to discuss their concern as well as offering information and advice on the procedure for raising a concern, and the support available to staff during the process.
