Personal Profile
Peter Davidson is the founder and Chief Executive of Montrose Community Trust, an award-winning charity that uses the power and appeal of sport, and in particular football, to support those most disadvantaged in its locality.
In addition, Peter holds positions on the Board of Montrose Football Club and the European Football for Development Network.
Peter is a strong advocate of the role that the Third Sector can play in complimenting the work of statutory bodies in changing lives and communities. He is an experienced and successful fundraiser, and has a proven track record of being able to develop and deliver community-benefitting programmes, delivering significant social return on investment in such.
Peter was formerly the Head of Sports Science at Inverness Caledonian Thistle Football Club and Dundee United Football Club, respectively. He also worked as a Lecturer in Sport, Health and Exercise at both Inverness College and Dundee & Angus College, and holds a Degree in Tertiary Education
